Ms. Botchway

Hello Everyone!

My name is Eunice Botchway, and I am originally from Ghana, West Africa. I attended St. Mary's Girls Secondary School and obtained my Teachers' certification from Accra Teachers' Training College. I taught elementary school and middle school before migrating to America. I had the opportunity of traveling with "Up with People" for a year before putting my roots down in Colorado.

I am married with two children. I operated a licensed home daycare, serving children of every ability and families with the Department of Defense. I joined the public school workforce in 2010 in the Cherry Creek School District as a preschool teacher's assistant and went on to be one of the On-Site directors. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education Generalist and a Master of Arts in Education degree in CLD from Regis University.

I worked as Reading Interventionist, Special Education teacher, and English Language Support Specialist with the Cherry Creek School District before joining APS. I have had the pleasure of working with all families from every walk of life, and I am glad to say that experience has shaped me into the educator I am today. I believe that all students can learn when given a chance with equitable resources and instruction to support them to thrive.

Thanks for welcoming me to your Prairie Dog family.
