Welcome! I am Rebecca Marsh, the new principal at Yale Elementary School. For the past three decades, I have had the privilege of teaching in the classroom, serving three campuses in Texas and Colorado as principal, and guiding graduate-level student teachers at Colorado State University.

My favorite role to this day is that of an elementary school principal. Nothing beats the energy of a building full of students. Although our current situation is like none other in history, we will work every day to ensure that your child has the most rewarding experience and best education regardless of the learning platform.

As leaders at Yale, we are acutely aware of the issues before us and challenges that lie ahead. We are dedicated to maintaining a safe environment for all students, faculty and staff from COVID 19. We are also dedicated to the full flourishing of all students, regardless of race, ethnicity or economic challenge. We will intentionally counteract racism and inequality of any kind at Yale Elementary School.

Together, we have quite a journey ahead of us! Our community would be incomplete without you and your child. We invite your partnership as we navigate new waters together. Thank you for your support in our endeavor.

Besides my passion for education, I am fortunate to be blessed with an amazing family. My husband Paul and I just celebrated our 28th anniversary this August and we have two amazing children: Connor, 22, who has begun his career in public education as director of bands at Longs Peak Middle School in Longmont, and daughter Kelly, who will be a freshman theater major at Metro State in Denver.
